This series by Jos Gevers and Jeroom Verten is set in 1958 and revolves around the friendship between the wealthy insurance broker Sander Slisse and the simple Cesar. Other characters are Slisse's wife Melanie, his sons Rik and Jan, his daughter Tinneke and the eternal factor who always comes begging for a drop of gin. Joanna Geldof also contributed to this series. The sitcom was interpreted in Antwerp. The series was also adapted into a play, in which other actors took on the roles.
A strange man arrives in Belder on horseback, and introduces himself as Captain Zeppos. Initially, he is met with suspicion and jealousy, but he soon befriends a local, Ben Kurrel. It becomes apparent that Zeppos had a motive to come to Belder: when in Greece a stranger had made him an offer on a piece of land he had inherited near the town. Ben Kurrel and his friend Rita Mees help him investigate the mystery.

Special attention is also given to the legally necessary, but sometimes frustrating, interaction with the judicial authorities, other police forces (this inefficiency required a major reform in reality), various experts and lawyers.
The Dutch title means "The woods of Flanders", referring to the rustic setting of this costume drama about the complex context of a number of murders in 19th century Belgium before, during and after the German occupation in World War I.
Postbus X is a childrens series, set in the editorial office of "De Ravenburgse Post", owned by eccentric Jonathan Hiks, later succeeded by his daughter Ilse Hiks. The Ravenburgse Post is in fact a cover for the organization Mailbox X '. People with problems can write a letter to Postbus X (PO Box X, actually 10) Ravenburg and then possibly helped. The team includes Jonathan Hiks (and later Ilse Hiks), Bodo and later Waldo of "Het Melkhuisje" (a café in the same building), Pol and Jessie. The meetings always go by at Het Melkhuisje, which is connected with the Office of Hiks with a hidden elevator . The rest of the editorial staff doesn't know anything of the activities of Postbus X, which sometimes leads to difficulties, especially when it comes to the clumsy and lazy worker 'De Vergulden Veder' Felix Haentjes, who is however, in favor of state editor Miss Pluym.

Huoon and Morholt return home to Ardoewaan from the crusades. They learn that their father has died and has left the castle to Huoon (being the elder). Huoon nevertheless decides to share everything with his brother. A conflict between Morholt and a neighboring Lord leads to a duel where Huoon takes his brother's place and gets killed. In order to secure the lands for his own son Gawain Morholt lets Huoon's son Rohalt disappear in the mountains where he's found by a family of shepherds. 20 years later Rohalt has grown and decides to become a knight. He will find himself confronting Morholt for his rightful legacy. Meanwhile the jester Fulco has his suspicions about the death of Huoon and seeks out the truth.
